| A traditional wedding invitation on heavy, textured cream paper gets a very personalized look with the inclusion of graphic elements evoking the location. Carolyn and Matt met and fell in love while attending the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. They decided to be married in the historic campus chapel, and so settled on the pineapple as their unifying theme. This symbol of hospitality is synonymous with historic Williamsburg, and we designed this very staid yet personable version of the fruit for their invitations, response postcards, reception card and brunch invitation. Everything is presented in the William and Mary colors of green and gold, with a moss green backing card layered with heavy, Italian-style paper, and printed in moss green with lovely gold accents. (paper: luxe cream, moss. fonts: Copperplate Gothic, Corinthia.) |
