Erica and Mark of Washington, DC eloped to Japan and married on the down low. Upon their return stateside, this American bride and her British gent planned a fun second wedding to celebrate with all of their friends and family. The weekend on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay was to include a bonfire, cricket match and cocktail party, each at a different location. To help guests keep everything straight we designed a pocket folder to hold coordinating wedding invitation, response postcard, map, shecdule of events, and information on local accomodations. We wrapped a beautiful 5x7 papaya pocket card with a stunning Japanese chiyogami paper printed with papaya and silver plum blossoms, and pewter satin ribbon. We created a coordinating graphic to adorn the invitation card and other interior pieces, printing the text in soft blue and pewter. The plum blossom graphic carried through to their programs, place cards and personal stationery, a constant reminder of their original Japanese honeymoon.
