This very elegant yet simple wedding invitation was designed for Carrie of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. She married her beau Michael on a gorgeous July morning, among the pebbles and tide pools at Ordiorne Point on the New England coast. This heavy, Italian textured paper has a deckled edge, which means it looks hand torn, rustic, and a bit organic. We designed the sea star and shell motif that graces the top of the invitation, and included it on the back flap of the envelope as well. This ensemble was printed using a silk screen process, keeping with the natural and elegant feel of the paper... and the wedding day itself. (paper: Italian deckle white. Font: Papyrus.)
