You may recall Kyla and Peter's save-the-date cards, and if so you will recognize the color scheme of chocolate and red as we have carried it through to their wedding invitation ensemble. We custom cut these 5x7 pocket folder cards from the same rich chocolate card stock, and wrapped the front panel in a sash of patterned paper. The elegant design in red, chocolate, pink and gray adds a beautiful splash of color, without overwhelming the luxurious cream textured paper featured inside. A chocolate satin ribbon is tied across the front, and continues inside and underneath the invitation itself, printed on the cream paper and adhered to the top panel. The pocket holds a reception card, response card with menu choices, and its envelope. The nuptial mass was held in a beautiful old church, and we printed programs for the ceremony on matching heavy cream cards. Directions to Lake Pearl in Wrentham, Massachuestts were printed on the back of the program; when guests arrived there for the reception they found our table numbers and placecards in coordinating chocolate, cream, and satin ribbon. Bridesmaids in cranberry silk dupioni dresses, centerpieces of richly colored fall fruits, and lots of beautiful chocolate linens tied the whole theme together. And we delight in knowing that guests saw it here first, in the invitations that so perfectly set the tone for this wonderful day.
