Jennifer and Todd of Bethesda, Maryland were married in the coolest of places: in the old bumper car pavilion at Glen Echo, a 1940s amusement park that has been restored and turned into an artist colony, ballroom, and hip party place. One of the bonuses of hiring Josie's Posies Custom Paper Studio to create your wedding invites: custom graphics! We designed a sweet little pair of bumper cars to grace the invitation, response card, and envelope, complete with heart-shaped grilles. The invitation, response card and envelopes were printed with a silk screen process, onto very heavy, very luxurious Italian textured paper. We used a deep navy blue ink. The look is unique and very elegant. This is our simplest of wedding designs, as it is simply a flat printed card, but isn't it divine? (paper: luxe white. Font: French Script.)
