This elegant "save the date" card was designed for Eliza and John of Rockville, Maryland, who were planning a wedding in a beautiful church in Philadelphia. A chocolate book-style card was custom cut, with interior pages in a beautiful plum color including the event details, accomodation and travel information, and a letter from the couple. A square window cut in the front of the card reveals an etching of the church in which they were to be married, a piece of artwork given to them by a family friend. The booklet is bound with a piece of pool satin ribbon, and is presented in a pool envelope lined in a surprising and feminine poppy printed paper. The rich chocolate in the card provides a masculine counterpoint to the plum and pool flowers, making this a perfect combination of John and Eliza's tastes.
