Bonnie and Robert exchanged vows at an outdoor chapel on an island in the middle of Squam Lake, at the foot of the White Mountains in New Hampshire. Can't you just picture it? Well we did, and designed a custom graphic based on the site to adorn their luxurious invitation ensemble. A line drawing of the little pine tree-studded island in the embrace of the snow-capped mountains behind it graced the top of the main invitation piece. It was printed in the colors of the Lakes Region, the blues and greens clearly such an important part of the lives of the happy couple. The Italian-style textured white paper is mounted on a backing of green, creating a beautiful border around the card. A matching response card and rehearsal dinner invitation are tucked behind, and the whole set is wrapped in a sash of green, tied closed with a big, fat, blue satin bow. And get this: the whole ensemble was mailed in a blue BOX, which itself was wrapped in green, with blue oval labels hand-addressed here in our studio. The box requires the same amount of postage as a flat envelope of similar weight. Who knew?
