To celebrate their Golden Anniversary, Phyllis and Peter of Waccabuc, New York invited their entire extended family to visit them for a weekend and celebrate fifty years of marriage and memories. Using an original wedding photo as the inspiration, we designed this tri-fold card to include the photo, a letter from the couple, and a menu of the weekend's festivities. A shimmery antique gold stock formed the backing of the invitation, referencing the metal traditionally given as a fiftieth anniversary gift. Three panels of beautiful cream are revealed when it is opened, along with the photo which we scanned, touched up and reprinted here in our studio. The card is wrapped in a beautiful Japanese Chiyogami paper, printed with a floral and vine pattern in deep green, eggplant, cream and gold. A cream satin ribbon completes the look, and the invitation was mailed in a heavy cream envelope.
