The Nichols Family of Chevy Chase host a fabulous cocktail party in their beautiful backyard every spring. They wanted a clean, simple and chic invitation, something with bold graphics and a garden theme. We custom created this drawing of stylized cherry blossoms, paying homage to the beautful trees that are ubiquitous in this suburban Washington, DC neighborhood. The single color on a simple white card creates high visual impact, and the font choice keeps it hip and modern. (paper: superfine white. envelope: sage. fonts: P22 Corinthia, Pimento.)
