When moving to a new home, it is essential that friends and family are notified stylishly. Otherwise, you'll never rate an address book update, and will be lost to them forever! The postcard on the left is one that we designed for Teresa and Pepper, upon their move to an historic family farm in Massachusetts. They provided us with a picture of their new house, and we created the colored pencil drawing of the home that is printed on the card. The pertinent information is printed above the drawing, and the flip side of the card is used for addressing and postage. The postcard meets Postal Service regulations, and is cut from a heavy textured Italian paper in cream. The design on the left is also a postcard, cut from the same textured paper in a pale blue. The message on the postcard reads "We've moved. Different house, same spot in your address book." The green "spot" in the upper left corner is a sage green circle printed with the family's last name in 15 different fonts, with a die cut "R" in the center. The missing piece is affixed to the front of the card, a hint of what one will see when the card is turned over. Both of these designs are classy yet inexpensive ways to tell your friends that you want to stay in touch. |
