This handsome graduation announcement was designed for the handsome Joe of McLean, Virginia - a talented baseball player and excellent student - upon his graduation from high school. Joe was very appreciative of the encouragement he had received from teachers, family and friends along his way, and wanted to express this in a personal letter to them rather than with a generic graduation announcement. And since we here at the Josie's Posies Studio don't DO generic, we were able to help him out! We designed this diagonal pocket, square enclosure card to hold his letter, and embellished it with his monogram and a photograph of him on the baseball field at his soon-to-be alma mater. The monogram and removable letter are silk screened in chocolate ink onto a heavy, Italian textured paper, and the photograph is affixed to the interior of the card facing the letter pocket. As this was his "parting shot", so to speak, we wanted it to speak to his masculinity and his sportsmanship, as well as to his dignity and maturity. We think we did a great job. And oh, he went on to study and play ball at Brown University, whose school colors - like those of his alma mater Landon School - are brown and white. We don't miss a beat, do we?
