Unless you have been living under a rock you have heard of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, which airs Sunday 8/7c on ABC. This is the show where a very deserving family gets an amazing new house, built in one week with the help of local friends and strangers, directed by sexy handymen and pretty, stylish faux painters. Incredibly brave family, eye candy crew, lots of drama; and you're crying like a baby over your after-dinner ice cream, waiting for Desperate Housewives to come on. Yep, we thought you'd heard of it. Well we here at the Josie's Posies Custom Paper Studio were thrilled when we were asked to be part of the action, and jumped at the chance to create this invitation to the wrap-of-filming party for the Guinta Family episode in Maynard, Massachusetts. The 5x7 red card is embellished with a border of red, chocolate and gray tiles, wrapped with a chocolate satin ribbon. The interior white text panel is mounted with a border of chocolate, and an idyllic little red house graces the the top. "You've helped us build a house. Now the Guinta Family can make it a home." An invitation follows to a party for the family and all who participated in helping their dream come true. We were happy to donate 250 of these invitations to the project, although we're still hoping for our personal visit from Ty Pennington...
