Best friends Caroline and Kylie celebrated in style at their Sweet Sixteen party, held at a beautiful country club overlooking the Washington, DC skyline. The theme was "black and white", so the girls asked for something beautiful, a little girly, and more than a little bit glam for the biggest party of their lives. The Josie's Posies Studio came up with this design, crafted from a double-sided, shimmery white and black paper. The invitation is presented in a glimmering white square envelope, and the card itself is custom cut to a square with rounded gate fold flaps. The card is wrapped with a black and white polka dot sash, and tied closed with a jet black satin ribbon. When the bow is untied and the flaps are opened, the beautiful black interior is revealed with the girls' initials die cut in white on either side. The invitation text is printed on a silky white paper, and here guests are asked to come dressed in black and white. We hope they had as much fun at the party as we had designing this for them!
