This 5x7 gate fold invitation was designed for the Landon School Azalea Festival Committee, for their inaugural Garden Party held in the campus's reknowned azalea gardens. These gardens bloom every spring with clouds of azaleas and other flowers, specimens from all over the world awash in shades of pink and white. We used a pretty strawberry cardstock and layered it with a sash of floral paper in shades of pink and brown. The blooms are repeated on the interior, creating a bed on which rests the text piece. A chocolate brown ribbon ties the whole package shut, a hue pulled from the floral paper that also happens to be Landon School's offical color.
