Asma and Amar are Potomac, Maryland siblings born 11 months apart, graduating simultaneously from two different prestigous private highschools. Their proud parents asked us to design an invitation to their formal graduation party, to be held at a beautiful country estate in the company of more than 100 of their closest friends and family members. In an effort to give weight and elegance to the invitation, but to also commemorate each child's high shool experience, we used textured, Italian style paper and both of their school colors. The 5x7 gate fold card is wrapped in a sash of Landon School brown, and tied closed with a ribbon in Stone Ridge School of the Scared Heart gold. The colors are repeated on the interior with a double border around the invitation panel. As the siblings have the same initials, we placed their shared monogram at the top.
