"Our dear Sibyl is tying the knot, yet she hasn't a fork, nor a sheet, nor a pot..." This is the opening to the cheeky verse on this fun bridal shower invitation. Sibyl was married in the fall, and her bridesmaids had been fitted in wine colored dresses with pear green trim. They thought it would be fun to incorporate these colors into the invitation to their friend's shower. And so, we did. A flat, circular card in a wine shade of purple is layered with a second, scallop edged round card in chartreuse, and the two are tied together with a picot-edged satin ribbon in a beautiful autumnal orange. We wrote the cute verse and printed everything in black and wine ink. The square, wine colored envelope cost a little extra to mail, but provided the perfect package for this great design.
