An elephant with an up-turned trunk is a symbol of happiness in many cultures, and he was chosen to adorn this baby shower invitation because of his cute pudge and his sweet little expression. We mounted a flat white card onto a 5x7 pool backer, and trimmed it with a chocolate sash and a smart little bow tied with aqua and green grosgrain ribbon. We made coordinating party favors and placecards as well, using the same colors and graphic details to create a cohesive ensemble. The chocolate brown seed packets contain sweet pea seeds: so each guest can have her own little "pea in the pod". (paper: pool, superfine white, chocolate. ribbon: baby blues grosgrain, aqua satin. fonts: Hightower, French Script, Century Gothic.)
