Baby Wedding Birthday Shower Special Events Stationery Gifts Holiday
Cory
Cory, of Washington, DC, doesn't do cute. So how do you design a baby shower invitation that has baby sweetness about it without nauseating the guest of honor? At Josie's Posies Custom Paper Studio, we always have the perfect thing. We used a light blue Japanese Yuzen paper printed with whimsical bunnies and red and gold flowers to embellish a sleek white flat card. Even though it has bunnies leaping across it, the paper is luxurious, mature, and very unique. We wrapped it with a surprising red satin ribbon, and printed the text in red and light blue. Presented in a deep red envelope, there is nothing but cool about it! The color palette gives this stylish invite an air of sophistication, while maintaining its original purpose: reminding guests to buy lots of cute things for the new baby! We also created coordinating favors for all of the party guests, pictured at right above. Each teeny-tiny brown paper sac contained a package of organic green tea. The message on the back of the sacs: "a baby is brewing!" Artfully tied shut with red satin ribbon, embellished with a blue bunny and funky red dot, personalized for each guest.
