Michele and John of McLean, Virginia were so thrilled to get three generations simultanoeously smiling and sitting, that they could entrust their family photo to no other card maker! They presented us with this photo and asked us to design a fun and elegant card in which to send it. We started with a very heavy, shimmery gold flat card and printed their greeting upon it. We then mounted a smaller, square folded card in a fabulous retro-inspired dot print, and wrapped it in a luscious chocolate satin ribbon. The card-on-a-card opens to reveal the prized family photo, which we custom cropped and colored to give it a golden sepia tint. The 5x7 card is presented in a traditional red envelope, with addresses printed on champagne-colored circular seals to echo the champagne-colored dots on the card.
