Remember when pizza at the roller skating rink was the best fourteenth birthday party idea EVER? Not to be outdone by his older sister's sweet sixteen bash, this young man requested a black-and-white themed, coat-and-tie-required dinner at a Bethesda, Maryland country club for 75 of his closest friends. As Matt is clearly suave beyond his years, we designed for him this handsome and elegant-yet-masculine party invitation. A sophisticated square card of the flattest, deepest black is matted with a layer of textured, Italian-style paper in a shade of creamy white. His monogram appears top left, balanced by the party details in a mature font, all caps, justified lower left. Presented in a heavy white envelope, this simple design uses interesting text placement and a bold font to create a very grown up look. Hopefully a little bit of this rubbed off on the young party guests, and they remembered to tuck in their shirts after being dropped off by mom at the front gate!
