We designed this beautiful birth announcement to celebrate the birth of Katie Mai, who was born in Vietnam and adopted home to her Maryland mother. Silky white paper overlays a pink scallop edged flat card, and wrapped with a removable sash. We chose the paper for the sash because of its Asian origins; it is a handmade Japanese paper in pink, with sweet bunnies leaping all over in white, red and gold. The whole package is wrapped in red satin ribbon, and when the sash is removed it reveals Katie Mai's birthdate and the town in Vietnam where she was born. Coordinating thank you notes are embellished with a die cut bunny and baby's name hand lettered in red ink, mailed in pink envelopes.
