This periwinkle and sage green wedding invitation was designed for a July wedding on Cape Cod, and the colors are intended to echo those of the ocean on a beautiful sunny day. The 5 x 7 inch folded card is belted with a sage green satin ribbon. When untied, the four corners of the card fold open to reveal a sage green border around a printed layer of handmade Tibetan paper with flower petal inclusions. The text was hand calligraphed here in the Josie's Posies studio, and then silk screened onto the beautiful, textured paper. The entire card was presented in an elegant cream colored envelope.
